Plans & limits
Projects, pages per crawl and exports on each plan.
What differs between plans
Every plan has every view and every analysis, approving links, the link snippet and scheduled crawls. Plans differ in how many sites you can keep, how large a site one crawl covers, how many pages you can crawl a month, and whether you can export.
| Plan | Projects | Pages per crawl | Page budget | CSV export |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 1 | 500 | 500 once | No |
| Starter | 3 | 2,500 | 10,000 a month | Yes |
| Plus | 10 | 25,000 | 100,000 a month | Yes |
| Pro | Unlimited | 100,000 | 300,000 a month | Yes |
Prices and the full comparison are on the pricing page.
The two page limits
- Pages per crawl
- The largest site one crawl covers. Pages found beyond it are listed as not crawled, and links pointing to them are still counted.
- Page budget
- The pages you can fetch in total, across all your projects. On paid plans it renews on the first of each month; the free plan's 500 pages are a one-time allowance to try LinkTaste.
The per-crawl limit is kept well below the monthly budget, so the largest site your plan allows can be crawled a few times a month. Every page a crawl fetches spends one page of the budget, whether you started it or the schedule did; opening and filtering results you already have costs nothing, and neither do the links the snippet writes.
When a limit is reached
- Page budget used up before a crawl: the crawl does not start, and you are asked to upgrade. A scheduled crawl is skipped, and you get an email.
- Page limit or page budget reached during a crawl: the crawl stops fetching and analyses the pages it has, so the results are there to look at. It is marked Unfinished; once your plan has room again, after an upgrade or when the budget renews, Finish crawl fetches the rest and analyses the whole crawl again.
- Project limit reached: creating another project asks you to upgrade, or to delete a project you no longer need.
- Export on the free plan: the CSV button explains that exports are part of the paid plans.
Your usage
The Plan limits tab of your account shows how many projects you hold, how many pages you have crawled this month and what your plan allows. The Subscription tab holds your plan, billing cycle, payment method and invoices.
